Stand-up paddle surfing is an emerging water sport at Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast. Typically, visitors would only think of regular surfing when they come for a holiday. Now, stand-up paddle surfing seems to be gaining popularity among tourists and locals alike.
Our guests at View Pacific Holiday Apartments can sign up for the stand-up paddle surfing lessons right at the beaches of Surfers Paradise. They can test their balance in the latest water activity to take the Gold Coast by storm. Every third Sunday of the month, a group of enthusiasts hold a workshop to teach visitors and locals the basics of stand-up paddle surfing. Guests at our Surfers Paradise apartment accommodation can rent or borrow a stand up paddle for their workshop. The stand-up paddle is used to propel a person on the water's surface while standing on a surfboard. The paddle consists of a blade, shaft and handle.
Any visitor booked at our Gold Coast holiday apartments can join. They don't need to have prior experience to take part in the class. Organisers say that by the end of the workshop, attendees will know how to stand-up paddle and can now learn new techniques for paddling and turning. Guests can approach our friendly staff to assist them in signing up for the workshop.
